Description

Bee's ideal home

Bee is looking for a quiet home with adopters who can give her lots of time and patience to settle into her new life. She needs a calm and predictable home, with minimal visitors initially, as she can be worried around lots of new faces. Bee can live with another calm and gentle dog, but finds cats and small furries too tempting! She needs a home with children no younger than 16 that can give her plenty of space when needed due to her anxieties. Bee does walk nicely on the lead, but doesn’t seem to have any other training, so will need a home who will be willing to teach her all of her basics and put her clever collie brain to work! As she isn’t housetrained, Bee will need her own private and secure garden that she can access throughout the day. Bee sniff arounds quietly when left alone, so her leaving hours can be built up gradually once she is settled. Bee will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes between 7 - 10 days

Could you be Bee's perfect match?

Bee is a 6 year old Border Collie who is the most gentle, loving and snuggly girl once she builds a bond with you. She has the most expressive face and ears that will always make you smile! She absolutely adores her tennis balls, and is very eager to engage with training. With lots of time, love, patience and training, Bee will make a wonderful, loving addition to your home and you’ll have the sweetest and most loyal best friend!

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
