Quincy's ideal home

Quincy is looking for a home where everyone is 14 years and over. He can be a bouncy boy and still uses his mouth when playing so need continued training of how to play appropriately. He is friendly meeting new people but can jump up when he greets them and get a little over excited. Quincy can be left for up to four hours in the home but he may need to have it built up gradually to make sure he is settling well first. He is toilet trained but as he's been in kennels may need a little reminder, in kennels he is a super clean boy and tries not to go in the kennel. He enjoys going on walks with other dogs but mostly prefers to do his own thing and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Quincy's ideal home would be a little bit off the beaten track and have access to quiet walks away from busy roads, as he can be worried around traffic.

Could you be Quincy's perfect match?

Quincy is a gorgeous 3 year old Border Collie. He is super friendly and absolutely loves his walks. He can be a little strong on lead when he gets excited but he's working on walking nice and calmly. While he loves being active he also loves a good snooze and will make for good company. He really enjoys using his brain so would love a home to do some training with him and give him lots of mental enrichment like food puzzles.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
