Description

Brock's ideal home

Sweet & sensitive 2 year old Border Collie Brock is on the look out for his new home! He is looking for a calm and predictable adult only home in a quieter area, as he can be worried by lots of hustle and bustle. Brock would also love to have his own private garden with 5ft+ fencing that he can safely potter in, and to help refine his housetraining. Brock has massively benefitted from making doggy pals so we feel that he must have another dog in the home, as it greatly helps with his confidence and he thrives in another dogs company - he gets the waggiest tail and becomes a playful puppy! After settling into his new home, Brock could possibly be left for 1-2 hours, given this is built up gradually. After a gentle potter and sniffy adventure around the woods, Brock likes to curl up in a cosy bed with his favorite soft toys. Brock will need to meet his adopters a few times to build a strong bond prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes between 7 - 10 days.

Could you be Brock's perfect match?

Beautiful Border Collie Brock is looking for a patient and understanding home who will advocate for him in situations he may find uncomfortable, assist him in building his confidence and allow him to settle into his new home life. Despite being a little worried of the world, Brock finds the courage to be super loving with his known handlers, enjoying a cheeky neck scratch, and thrives in the company of all the doggy pals he has made so far in our care. He loves his favorite humans and is happy to be sat by your side watching the world go by. Brock is getting more and more confident each day, and will make a such loving and gentle companion.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
