Introducing Ziggy, the beautiful 3 year old crossbreed who is on the lookout for her forever home. This gorgeous girl arrived at our centre due to no fault of her own, and she is ready for her next adventure. Ziggy is looking for an active home where she can achieve high exercise levels and keep physically stimulated. Ziggy loves her humans so much so, initially she will need owners who are home most of the time. A secure garden is a must so Ziggy can explore to her hearts content and due to her being a bouncy character she will need a fence that is over 6ft. She needs to be the only dog in the home as she gets worried by other dogs but she can live with secondary school children. Ziggy was born deaf however this is easily manageable and our training team will be on hand to help before and after Ziggy goes home.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
