About This Dog

Gracie's ideal home

Gracie is looking for a home that already has another friendly, well-balanced dog to help show her the ropes. Her new home will also need to have a private garden so she has somewhere safe to play and run around off lead. She will also need her adopters to be actively involved in her training to help boost her confidence and help bring her anxiety down. Gracie could potentially live with teenagers 16 or over if the home environment is quiet and without too many visitors while she is settling in. She does have the potential to be left for a couple of hours if time is built up slowly once she has settled.

Could you be Gracie's perfect match?

Gracie is a gorgeous one-year-old Border Collie who has missed out on a lot in life so far. Gracie is learning that the world isn’t always a scary place, and she is slowly building bonds with her handlers here at the centre. She has shown a love for dogs and gains a lot of confidence from them. Gracie LOVES food, so winning her over doesn’t take too long and once settled this can used for some training to open her world even further. Gracie is the sweetest dog and with time and patience, she will make a loyal friend.
