Description

Loki's ideal home

1 year 5 month old Loki is looking for forever home, he is still young and will need sometime to adjust to his new home. Loki will need some time and patience with ongoing basic training including housetraining, he can live with older teenagers 16+ who are comfortable around large bouncy dogs but will need to be the only pet in the home. He is able to have walking buddies and would benefit from ongoing socialisation with other dogs. Any leaving time will need to be built up slowly over time, Loki does gets anxious when left alone so would really suit a home with someone around most of the time.

Could you be Loki's perfect match?

Loki is a happy boy who loves to be around people, his crazy energy is so infectious and will brighten anyone's day. He is still young and not had a lot of training so would love a home that can engage with him and help him be the best dog he can. Loki likes his treats which is useful for his ongoing training and building a bond with him. Loki has not had much chance to get out and explore the world and would thrive in a family that love their daily walks as much as he does.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
