Description

Zeus's ideal home

Zeus (or Zoozey we call him),is our sweet six-year-old Collie x Husky with a heart of gold and a love for soft meaty treats. To put it simply, Zeus is worried by most things. He quickly recovers but will need a quiet home with experienced owners who want to show him the big world isn’t so scary. Zeus will need multiple meets and maybe a few treats to build trust but once he knows you, he soon shows you his silly, playful side. Zeus can guard high value food or similar items in the home. For this reason, he needs to live in an adult only home and our training team will be on hand to support Zeus’s new family with this before and after he goes home.

Could you be Zeus's perfect match?

Zeus is a true charmer, melting hearts with his affectionate nature, especially towards those he holds dear. His clever mind is always ready to learn something new and it also helps that treats will win his heart, and he'll eagerly show you his repertoire of tricks for a tasty reward. Born to explore, Zeus thrives on his daily walk but bustling environments can leave him feeling a tad uneasy, so he prefers quieter, more serene surroundings where he can truly be himself. With the right guidance and love, Zeus will undoubtedly brighten every moment with his boundless energy and unwavering affection, he loves to sit with you and watch TV, maybe even with his paw in your hand.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
