Bella's ideal home

Bella is looking for an active, fun new home who can keep up with her busy brain! She could possibly live with another dog but they would need to be able to manage her energy and at present, her instinct to herd all other dogs! She needs to continue her work on appropriately playing and interacting with other dogs, not just herding them! Or she could happily be the only dog in her new home, as long as kept busy with a fulfilling life! Bella could live with children aged 10+. Her new family will need to commit to her training, socialising and meeting all of her needs, especially in the first few months as she settles and grows, both into a routine and physically!

Could you be Bella's perfect match?

Bella is a 3 month old Collie cross pup who is extremely bright, super active and needs a new home that can provide her with all of the stimulation, training and exercise that such a pup needs. Bella will need to attend our Dog School classes post adoption and would benefit from having a hobby such as agility or scent work as she gets older. Bella loves everyone but can be a limit timid initially.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
