Tipper's ideal home

Tipper can live with teenagers but no other pets. We have very little history for him but do believe he was house trained in a pervious home, but we don't know if he's used to spending time alone.

Tipper is an absolute sweetheart who has the funniest little habit of wiggling his bum when he's excited! He's very friendly with people but can be a little wary of new spaces, so please give him time to adjust to his new surroundings. He's been great on his walks and is very good on his lead, just walking past most dogs without a care. Tipper will bark at any that get uncomfortably close to him and we don't think he has encountered too many other dogs in his life. He is better suited to being the only dog at home but with some calm and appropriate introductions, some walking buddies would be nice for him. Tipper loves toys and has been encouraging his handlers to play fetch with him.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
