Description

Hobnob's ideal home

Hobnob is a super sweet boy who hasn’t had the best start in life. He can be worried and nervous at the start but it isn’t long before he starts to show off his cheeky personality. He is working on his confidence around loud noises and doorways and has been making great progress on this! He ideally would like an adopter to be around for most of the day to help him settle into home life and work on building his leaving hours slowly. Additionally, he would like adopters who have an understanding of nervous dogs and previous experience of the breed. For now, he would like to be the only pet in the home as he can be quite intense with his dog interactions. He would like to work on his interactions further and has the potential to live with another dog in the future. He can live with resident teenagers who can help to support him on his confidence building journey to help him become the best boy he can be. Hobnob is looking for a home with a secure and private garden.

Could you be Hobnob's perfect match?

Hobnob is a shy and sensitive soul who can take some time to open up to new people. Once he knows you, he starts to show off his loving nature and affectionate side- leaning in for snuggles and love. Hobnob loves his home comforts and adores being surrounded by a range of toys and a big fluffy bed to snuggle up in. Hobnob really comes out to shine on his long adventurous walks where he can stretch his legs, sniff around and see the World.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
