Zac's ideal home

Zac is a very friendly and loving 10yr old Border Collie. He is deaf so we are looking for a very special home where he can relax and get all the love he deserves. He's very friendly with other dogs and could potentially share his home with another calm, relaxed doggy friend. He'll be fine with older kids who understand when to let him relax. He is already house trained but he will still need a secure garden as he loves having somewhere to play and sniff around off-lead.

Zac has stolen the hearts of everyone at the rehoming centre due to his sweet nature and loving personality. He wants to be everybody's friend and greets everyone with a waggy tail! He knows some basic cues already, like 'sit' and 'paw' which he does by following our hand signals. He's playful too and loves his toys. He may be 10yrs old but he still loves getting out for a good walk, followed by sofa snuggles of course! Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
