Description

Bella's ideal home

Bella is a beautiful 3-year-old Border Collie, full of potential, looking for a calm and understanding home. This clever girl thrives in a quiet, rural environment where she can feel safe and secure, as loud noises and busy areas can leave her feeling overwhelmed. She could live with another calm and respectful dog, though she is not particularly playful with other dogs and prefers to do her own thing. Children aged 11+ would be best suited to her, as she can be a little worried in new situations. She cannot live with cats.

Bella is still working on her housetraining, but with a patient and gentle approach, she will continue to improve. She needs a family that will give her the space and time she needs to build trust, as once she does, she shows her sweet and affectionate side in the most adorable ways.

Bella does have ongoing medication which would be discussed with our rehoming team during the reservation process.

Could you be Bella's perfect match?

If you love a game of fetch, Bella will be your perfect match! This playful girl is absolutely obsessed with tennis balls—she will fetch, bring them back, drop them, and even boop them toward you when she is ready for another round. It is her favourite way to bond with her humans and a great confidence booster for her.

Although she is not overly affectionate, Bella enjoys gentle fuss from those she trusts and will nudge your hand when she wants more attention. She knows her basic commands and responds well to soft treats as a reward. Formal handling makes her uncomfortable, so any grooming or vet visits should be approached with patience and positive reinforcement.

With the right home and a family who understands her needs, Bella will blossom into a devoted and playful companion. If you have the time, space, and plenty of tennis balls, she would love to be your new best friend.

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
