Penny's ideal home

Penny loves toys and will engage in playing fetch with you. Penny will require a secure garden so she has somewhere to play off-lead, although she is good off lead, we would not advise this until a bond with her new adopter has been established. Penny can pull on the lead, so potential adopters need to be mindful of this and consider revisiting loose lead walking training with her. Penny will need her new family to be passionate about keeping her collie mind stimulated, through enrichment and exercise. We feel that she has so much energy, she would really benefit from an active family, who will enjoy being outdoors, long walks and adventures. Penny has experienced many a happy holiday away in the family motorhome and behaves well when away from home.

Penny the active Collie who will be the perfect companion for someone, she is good with other dogs she meets on walks, she is house trained, she travels well in the car and enjoys long walks, (in time she should be able to be off lead). She is a sociable dog, and would happily learn new activities with her adopters, due to her high energy we feel she’d be suited living with Children who are dog savy and understand that dogs can jump up when excited and when a dog needs to relax and have their own safe space. Penny will remain in her family home until we find a match for her, she is used to being walked daily, well-handled for grooming and being part of the family
