Description

Jax's ideal home

Jax is a sweet 7-month-old Akita x Collie. He is an active boy who has bundles of energy and is a lot of fun to be around. Jax would like to be the only pet in the home and can live with children aged 14 and above. Jax loves to snuggle up with his family on the sofa and enjoy lots of cuddles. He is looking for a home where there would be someone at home for most of the day and able to build up his confidence being left. He loves playing in the garden, having access to somewhere enclosed would be beneficial for him to help burn off some of his energy and continue his training.

Could you be Jax's perfect match?

Jax is an adorable boy who is very friendly with everyone he meets, greeting you with lots of enthusiasm. Jax loves learning! Having a family who would like to continue training with him would be key. Jax can be uncomfortable around other dogs and is looking for a home that will continue his training with this. Jax will need his owners to be able to walk him in quieter places where he can continue to do training to focus on his owners. AWE licence number 176240 by West Lothian Council.

Buying Checklist

Border Collie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Border Collie.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
