About This Dog

Trucker's ideal home

Trucker is a gentle boy looking for a quiet and peaceful retirement home, where he can enjoy his home comforts like a big comfy bed and a gentle walk to take in lots of sniffs. Trucker has found being in kennels a bit overwhelming and much prefers the quiet life. He could share his forever home with children 16+ who can understand that he likes to relax and take time for himself. We have little history of Truckers life before he found himself with us, so he may need some help settling into a home environment and learning things such as how to spend time home alone and housetraining. Trucker enjoys the company of calm polite doggy friends and would happy share his walks with them, however at the moment would like to be the only pet as he doesn't like to share the things that mean the most to him (like tasty treats)! Trucker would love his own garden where he can sunbathe and relax in the peace and quiet.

Could you be Trucker's perfect match?

Being an older gent, Trucker does have some ongoing medical needs which will need to be managed and monitored in his forever home. Our team at the centre would be happy to discuss his needs with you and how we keep Trucker happy and comfortable.
